Job summary

Ochsner is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to provide individualized patient care in person, by phone and electronically under supervision. You will support the provider, prepare exam rooms and document information accurately to ensure smooth visits.

Responsibilities

• Supports the patient and provider throughout the patient visit.
• Prepares rooms and ensures the patient and provider are ready for the visit.
• Documents patient information accurately in systems and records.
• Delivers excellent patient service through clear communication, in person and over the phone.
• Maintains confidentiality and manages information per policies.
