Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Formal medical assistant training preferred.
• Experience handling confidential information in fast-paced settings.
• Medical Assistant Certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports the patient and provider throughout the visit.
• Prepares patient and provider for the visit.
• Answers patient questions prior to leaving and prepares room for next appointment.
• Delivers excellent patient service through in-person and phone interactions.
• Completes registration documentation as needed.
• Maintains clinical knowledge and credentials through ongoing development.
• Complies with DOT drug & alcohol testing if in occupational health settings.
