Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of a medical assistant training program.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months to 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Experience with EPIC EHR strongly preferred.
• Ability to perform injections, vitals, phlebotomy, and specimen collection.

Responsibilities

• Perform rooming procedures, vital signs, and documentation in EPIC.
• Assist with procedures including EKGs, immunizations, wound care, specimen collection.
• Monitor and record vital signs.
• Obtain prior authorizations for imaging and medications.
• Prepare charts, review prior records, ensure completeness.
• Maintain infection control and HIPAA compliance.
• Coordinate follow-up appointments and paperwork.
• Maintain inventory and supply stocking.
