Job summary

Care New England Health System is seeking a Medical Assistant to support daily clinical operations across primary care and specialty practices. You will assist with rooming, vital signs, injections, EKGs, vaccines, and accurate EPIC documentation to ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality care.

You will work under licensed providers, follow HIPAA, and help with administrative tasks such as chart prep, referrals, and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a medical assistant training program and/or 6–12 months of job-related experience.
• Proficient with EHR systems (EPIC) and vital signs documentation.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to educate patients, work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, record vital signs, and document in EPIC.
• Assist with EKGs, immunizations, wound care, and specimen collection.
• Obtain prior authorizations and coordinate follow-up appointments.
• Maintain clinical supply inventory and ensure infection control.
• Protect patient privacy under HIPAA and support care providers.
