Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program prior to start date/transfer or equivalent Military experience with ability to obtain MA-I prior to start date.
• Interim Medical Assistant Certificate (Washington) required at hire OR Medical Assistant Certificate (Washington) required at hire
• Medical Assistant Certificate (Washington) within 12 months of hire
• Basic Life Support required at hire
• If hired as MA-I, must obtain MA-C prior to expiration of MA-I credential.

Responsibilities

• Collection of health status data and vital signs.
• Document nursing plans and care progress.
• Provide patient education aligned with plan of care.
• Communicate effectively with the health team.
• Ensure safe, private environment and infection control adherence.
• Support corporate policies and dress code.

Education
