Job summary

Kaiser Permanente Washington is seeking a Medical Assistant to support a high-quality patient care team in Washington state. You will collect data, monitor vital signs, and document in the medical record as part of expected nursing support.

The role requires completion of an accredited MA program or equivalent, WA MA credentials (MA-I or MA-C) within the specified timelines, and BLS at hire. Collaboration with nurses, physicians, and other providers is essential to deliver exceptional patient

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent military experience.
• Interim Medical Assistant Certificate (Washington) required at hire OR Medical Assistant Certificate (Washington) required at hire
• Medical Assistant Certificate (Washington) within 12 months of hire
• Basic Life Support required at hire

Responsibilities

• Collect patient data and vital signs; document in the medical record.
• Coordinate care with the health team and educate patients.
• Provide patient and family education according to the plan.
• Maintain a safe, private environment and follow infection control policies.
• Support ongoing staff orientation and performance reviews as directed.
