IU Health is seeking compassionate Medical Assistants to join our Carmel clinic. You will room patients, assist providers, and handle administrative tasks to ensure smooth patient flow and timely care.

The role requires a high school diploma, 0–2 years of experience, and CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA/CMAC certification. AHA-BLS and knowledge of OSHA/CLIA/ADA are preferred, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience expected.
• Certification in medical assisting (CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA/CMAC) required.
• BLS certification (AHA) for healthcare workers required.
• Knowledge of OSHA, CLIA, ADA standards.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and support providers during clinic visits.
• Manage patient messages, paperwork, and prior authorizations.
• Assist with both clinical and administrative duties.
• Rooming patients and completing intake.
• Assisting providers with patient care.
• Managing patient messages and records.
• Scanning and maintaining medical records.
• Prepare exam rooms and support clinic workflow.
