Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support our providers in delivering exceptional patient care. You will work directly with patients, assist with clinical procedures, support care coordination, and help create a positive healthcare experience every day.

In this part-time Day Shift role, you will welcome patients, document histories, assist with exams, administer medications, and educate patients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Completion of MA program and externship or internship or EMT/Paramedic or Athletic Trainer
• MA certification preferred/desired.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and prepare patients for appointments.
• Collect and document patient histories and vital signs.
• Assist with exams, procedures, testing, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic testing as directed.
• Communicate test results and instructions to patients.
• Provide patient and family education to support better health outcomes.
• Coordinate care between patients and providers.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and disease management programs.
