Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED. Accredited MA program/externship/internship required or preferred.
• MA certification or active EMT/Paramedic licensure desired in Michigan.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and prepare patients for appointments.
• Collect and document patient histories, vital signs, and health information.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, testing, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic testing as directed.
• Communicate test results and provider instructions to patients.
• Provide patient and family education to support better health outcomes.
• Coordinate care between patients and providers.
• Support quality improvement and disease management initiatives.
