Qualifications

• 0–1 year of clinical experience or equivalent; may require 2+ years if MA program/not completed
• Successful completion of accredited MA program or externship/ internship or equivalent credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and prepare patients for appointments.
• Collect and document patient histories, vital signs, and health information.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, testing, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic testing as directed.
• Communicate test results and provider instructions to patients.
• Provide patient and family education to support better health outcomes.
• Coordinate care between patients and providers.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and disease management programs.
