Trinity Health IHA Medical Group in Michigan is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support providers in delivering patient care. You will work directly with patients, assist with exams, procedures, testing, and specimen collection.

The role emphasizes care coordination, patient education, and communication of test results and instructions to patients. Minimum education includes MA program or EMT/Paramedic credentials, with CPR.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Credentialed MA or EMT with Michigan license desired; Paramedic with Michigan license acceptable.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsabilidades

• Welcome and prepare patients for appointments.
• Collect and document patient histories, vital signs, and health information.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, testing, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic testing as directed.
• Communicate test results and provider instructions to patients.
• Provide patient and family education to support better health outcomes.
• Coordinate care between patients and providers; support care coordination.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and disease management programs.
