Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team in Michigan. You will assist clinicians, prepare patients, take vital signs, perform EKGs, draw blood, administer injections, and support in-office testing and procedures.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, MA program completion, and preferred certifications. Day shifts with comprehensive benefits start from Day 1 and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with completion of an MA program and externship/internship, EMT, or Paramedic program.
• Certification as Medical Assistant preferred (CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, NRCMA, CMAC).
• Minimum: 2+ years clinical experience if no MA program; new graduate or 1+ year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Room set up and patient preparation
• Taking vitals (Manual & Electronic)
• Perform EKG
• Drawing blood and giving injections and immunizations
• Performing office tests (Point of Care Testing)
• Pharmacology
• Administrative duties
• May perform or assist with in-office procedures/treatments
