Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support providers and enhance patient care. You will greet patients, collect histories and vital signs, assist with exams and procedures, and help coordinate care to improve health outcomes.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or MA training, EMT/Paramedic credentials, and current CPR. This part-time role offers a collaborative, mission-driven environment in Southeast Michigan.

Qualifications

• Minimum education as listed; MA credentials preferred.
• CPR certification desirable and current.
• Experience supporting clinical procedures and testing.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and prepare patients for appointments.
• Collect patient histories, vital signs, and health information.
• Assist with exams, procedures, testing, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic testing as directed.
• Coordinate care between patients and providers and educate patients.
