Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care in Edinburg, TX is seeking a Medical Assistant to serve as the first point of contact, performing administrative tasks and direct patient care at our outpatient site.

You will work with Physicians and Nurses, take vital signs, input data into the EMR, and support exam rooms. Required: MA program or certification and CPR; Preferred: bilingual English/Spanish and phlebotomy experience; 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of MA school/training program or a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or 5+ years of experience and approval from Provider.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR Certification

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for patient care.
• Perform administrative tasks alongside clinical duties.
• Take vital signs and input information into EMR.
• Collaborate with Physicians and Nurses.
