Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a Medical Assistant to be the first contact for patient care, performing administrative duties alongside clinical tasks onsite.

Under supervision, you will obtain vital signs, discuss symptoms, assist with medications and vaccines, perform phlebotomy, and document in the EMR. A completed MA program or certification and CPR are required, with bilingual English/Spanish helpful.

Qualifications

• Completion of MA school/training program or CMA/RMA certification or 5+ years of experience with provider approval.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical responsibilities: discuss symptoms, obtain vitals, administer medications and vaccines.
• Perform phlebotomy, collect specimens, and conduct diagnostic screening tests.
• Sterilize and clean equipment, maintain examination rooms, and document information in EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers.
• Deliver direct patient care within active certification limits.
• Follow standard procedures with some discretion on prioritization and timing.
• Work within defined parameters to meet quality standards.
