Job summary

NorthLakes Community Clinic is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient-centered care under supervision. The role focuses on patient engagement, timely care delivery, and accurate EHR documentation.

Qualified candidates will have MA certification and CPR, with experience in rooming patients, vital signs, and assisting with exams. A comprehensive benefits package and a $2,000 sign-on bonus for full-time employment are offered.

Qualifications

• Current Medical Assisting certification by a national agency is required.
• One-year certificate from college/technical school or completion of MA program.
• CPR certification is required; additional credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and take vital signs (pulse, temperature, BP, weight, height).
• Engage patients about symptoms, medications, allergies and update EHR.
• Prepare rooms and assist with exams, treatments, and procedures.
• Gives injections and performs routine lab tests when needed.
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up appointments with care teams.
• Maintain and document patient information in the EHR.
