Qualifications

• Current Medical Assisting certification by a national agency required.
• One-year certificate from college or technical school or completion of Medical Assistant program; three months+ related experience.
• CPR certification required; certification within 12 months strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Rooms patients and measures vital signs (pulse, temp, BP, weight, height).
• Engages patients about symptoms, meds, allergies; updates EHR.
• Prepares exam rooms and assists with exams and procedures.
