Job summary

CompleteCare is seeking a friendly Medical Assistant to support providers in a patient-centered, team-based care setting in New Jersey. The role emphasizes accurate medical record handling, patient preparation, and collaboration with nurses and physicians.

The position requires a Medical Assistant program graduate, 1–2 years of healthcare experience, and MA certification within 6 months. CPR certification is preferred; EMR experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program.
• 1–2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
• MA certification required within 6 months of employment; CPR certification preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide services to patients while ensuring a safe environment of care.
• Reduce risks of nosocomial infections in patients, employees, and visitors.
• Assist providers during examinations and patient visits.
• Schedule appointments, register patients, and prepare charts and medical history.
• Maintain clean, organized clinical areas and support team objectives.
