Qualifications

• Ability to read safety rules and procedure manuals; demonstrate HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervises self-administration of medication for residents.
• Assists with ADLs, meals, light housekeeping, and laundry while promoting independence.
• Interacts with residents with empathy, kindness, and respect.
• Observes health and emotional changes; reports to supervisor.
• Assists in dining service and community leisure activities as per calendar.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents.
• Responds promptly to resident requests and ensures privacy and dignity.
• Ensures residents sign out when leaving the community; follows HIPAA policies.
• Supports training of new employees and assists in mentoring.
