The Palmettos of Garden City is seeking a Med Tech to join our care team. You will provide direct and indirect patient care under RN/LPN direction and assist residents with daily living activities to maintain comfort and safety.

Responsibilities include medication administration, admissions/discharges support, and routine patient care, with emphasis on safety, cleanliness, and compassionate service. This role offers on-site responsibilities within a long-term care setting.

Qualificações

• Experience in direct patient care and daily living activities.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions precisely.
• Capable of charting accurately in the Patient Care Records or equivalent.
• Pleasant, cheerful demeanor and professional conduct.
• Tact and courtesy with patients and visitors.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under RN/LPN supervision.
• Administer medications per physician orders.
• Assist in admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Perform morning and evening care routines and daily living activities.
• Monitor vital signs and document measurements.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and confidentiality at all times.
• Assist with activities and socialization on the unit.
