Job summary

Responsibilities include medication setup, MAR checks, scheduling doctor visits, and assisting with meals. Requires high school diploma and state-certified medication administration with CPR/First Aid where required. A rewarding opportunity in a supportive senior living community.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Certification in medication administration and CPR/First Aid as required by state regulations.
• Must be able to work independently and prioritize workload.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with residents, families, and staff.
• Compassionate approach to elderly and disabled residents.

Responsibilities

• Sets up medications and passes them to residents following policies and procedures.
• Performs narcotic counts at shift start and end.
• Orders medications from pharmacy per community policy.
• Checks MARs for accuracy.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living as needed.
• Acts with compassion and maintains resident dignity during care.
• Escorts residents to meals and activities; assists in serving meals as needed.
• Maintains confidentiality of residents' information and documents changes appropriately.
• Attends required training and meetings.
