Hickory Senior Living Management, LLC seeks a Medication Technician / Resident Care Assistant to provide direct resident care and medication administration within our Montgomery, AL community. You will assess residents, document changes, and communicate with care teams and families to support independence and well-being.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and one year of related experience. State-required Medical Technician certification and CNA certifications are preferred,

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of related work experience required.
• Medical Technician certification (as required by state).
• Nursing Assistant Training Program certificate preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification, if required per state regulations.

Mansioni

• Provide direct resident care services including medicine distribution to residents. Follow individualized plan of care for all residents.
• Perform resident assessments as required by state standards/regulations and facility policy, under the direction of the Director of Assisted Living.
• Observe residents for changes in condition and report any changes to supervisor and/or the Executive Director.
• Document pertinent observations, interventions, and daily medication care throughout the shift and pass information to the next shift.
• Complete and maintain current individualized care plan for each resident.
• Provide interim documentation as required to resident file and attend interdisciplinary meetings.
• Check and record vital signs, weights, and blood sugars as assigned.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and restorative nursing techniques.
• Encourage participation in facility activities and coordinate transportation to activities when needed.
• Assist with transfers and ambulation using proper body mechanics.
• Maintain a restraint-free environment and support fall-prevention programs.
