Colonial Vista Community Healthcare, LLC is seeking a qualified Medication Aide/Med Tech to administer medications to residents on a regular schedule, while adhering to facility policies and patient safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a state-licensed Medication Aide credential, with prior Med Tech experience preferred. This position offers hourly pay in the $19–$23 range and on-site duties within the facility.

Competenze

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education or its equivalent.
• Must be a licensed Medication Aide having successfully completed a state approved training program and any necessary examination(s) in accordance with state laws.

Mansioni

• Follow facility policies and procedures governing the administration of medications.
• Note and report errors in medication administration.
• Assist in developing procedures to determine what medication errors occur and how to prevent them.
• Prepare, administer, and document medications for residents as ordered by physicians or the Medical Director.
• Maintain professional relationships with nursing staff, physicians, the Medical Director, and pharmacists.
• Document and report medication-related issues and discrepancies promptly.
• Participate in quality assurance programs and medication-related committees to improve accuracy and safety.
