Job summary

Sagora Senior Living's Lynridge of Waco is seeking a Med Tech to assist residents with medications, personal care and daily living activities. The role includes administering medications, recording administrations, and supporting well-being in accordance with state and federal guidelines.

CMA certification is optional; training and delegation are provided. Six months of medication pass experience in a retirement setting preferred.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience passing medications in a retirement community preferred.
• CMA certification is a plus, but not required.
• Candidate must have strong written and verbal English communication.
• The ideal candidate is caring, organized and able to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Administer and accurately record medication administrations as prescribed.
• Obtain, record, and report resident vital signs.
• Manage medication supplies and accountability for all meds.
• Provide care for residents' personal needs, safety and comfort.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Aid in daily tasks such as housekeeping, phone, laundry, transport and mail.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ condition and status.
• Conduct rounds to monitor hazards or incidents.
• Assist in dining services, including escorting residents and serving meals.
