Sagora Senior Living is seeking a Med Tech to join our team at Landon Ridge Kingwood, Houston area. Med Techs administer and dispense medications, provide personal care, and assist residents to maintain wellbeing and independence, under nurse supervision.

Qualifications

• Six months of work experience passing meds in a retirement community setting preferred.
• CMA certification is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Administer and accurately record medications as prescribed by a resident's physician under nurse supervision.
• Obtain, record, and report resident vital signs.
• Manage supply of medications and ensure proper storage and accounting.
• Care for residents' personal needs, safety and comfort, including activities of daily living.
• Assist with dining, wardrobe, hygiene, mobility and related daily tasks.
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition and status.
