Job summary

Pacific Living Centers, Inc. is seeking a Universal Caregiver / Medication Aide in Grants Pass, OR to provide direct resident care across daily living activities, medication support, and health observation. The role emphasizes compassionate communication and adherence to care plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training with working with seniors.
• Basic computer skills/knowledge.
• CPR, First Aid and Food Handler cards (can be acquired during hiring).
• Pre-Service Universal Caregiver training is required and part of onboarding.
• Ongoing training provided by Executive Director and Oregon Care Partners.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, meals).
• Medication setup and administration after training.
• Update resident records timely per policy.
• Report health/behavior changes to supervisor.
• Maintain clean, safe living environment; assist with housekeeping and dining areas.
• Prepare and cook food as required; assist with meal service.
