Job summary

Pacific-Living-Centers in Grants Pass, OR is hiring a Universal Caregiver / Medication Aide for a full-time role. You will assist residents with daily living activities and support medication administration after training, while updating records and reporting health changes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training with working with seniors.
• Basic computer skills/knowledge.
• Valid CPR, First Aid and Food Handlers cards (can be acquired during the hiring process).
• Pre-Service Universal Caregiver training is required but part of your onboarding and training.
• Ongoing training is provided by the Executive Director and Oregon Care Partners to ensure the highest level of care and adherence to state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and getting to and from activities and meals.
• Medication setup and administration, when needed, after training.
• Update resident records in a timely manner in accordance with company policy and procedures.
• Report any changes in resident’s health or behavior and observe/report the health and emotional condition of each resident.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents, including housekeeping and dining area cleaning.
