Job summary

Emerald Nursing and Rehab Columbus in Columbus, Nebraska is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our skilled nursing team. You will assess resident needs, deliver direct nursing care, and collaborate with RNs, CNAs, physicians, and therapists to ensure quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds a Nebraska LPN/LVN license, completed an accredited program, and has CPR/BLS certification. Prior SNF experience and strong communication are preferred.

Qualifications

Licensed practical nurse with Nebraska licensure (LPN/LVN).
Graduation from an accredited LPN/LVN program.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to lift/move patients and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medications and treatments.
Monitor vital signs, document progress, report changes to nursing leadership.
Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans.
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate with residents/families.
