Job summary

Emerald Nursing & Rehab Lancaster in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide compassionate, resident-centered care. You will assess needs, deliver direct nursing care, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team to support residents’ well-being.

As part of a skilled nursing facility, you will follow care plans, monitor vital signs, document progress, and communicate clearly with residents, families, and staff to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Valid LPN/LVN license in Nebraska or Multistate license.
• Graduation from an accredited LPN/LVN program.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents and administer medications as prescribed.
• Monitor residents' vital signs and document progress.
• Assist in development and implementation of individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate with residents, families, and the health team.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety policies.
• Provide emotional support and education to residents and families.
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, physicians, and therapists for coordinated care.
