Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing care to residents in a warm, home-like setting. You will work with a team to assess and document residents’ status and coordinate care while supporting independence.

Ideal candidates have an LPN license with CPR certification and 1–2 years’ nursing experience, preferably with seniors. Benefits include extended holidays, health and retirement programs, tuition assistance, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Current state license as an LPN and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an approved LPN program (per state requirements).
• Minimum of 1–2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Previous experience with the elderly in paid or volunteer roles is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assess, communicate, and document residents’ status.
• Observe health changes and report to appropriate leaders.
• Direct and supervise daily tasks of Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentor Lead Resident Care Assistants in job duties.
• Coordinate care with community providers via case management.
• Balance service demands with resident independence.
• Recognize elder abuse/neglect and report per state regulations.
• Respond to emergencies and activate backup as needed.
