Cherokee Hospital is seeking a Regular Full Time LPN in Cherokee, NC. The LPN will support NPs and RNs, perform routine nursing tasks, and ensure accurate documentation in patient charts.

Responsibilities include vital signs, venipuncture, medication administration, inventory management, and care coordination with physicians. A NC LPN license and CPR are required, with 6 months to become proficient in core duties.

Qualifications

• Must complete an accredited LPN program and hold an active North Carolina LPN license or a compact-state license with NC licensure within 30 days.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Six months in the role to gain proficiency across core duties.

Responsabilités

• Assist NP/RN and screen residents' charts before duties.
• Take vital signs and report abnormal findings to NP/RN.
• Perform venipuncture to collect specimens for labs.
• Administer medications as ordered by NP/MD.
• Maintain vaccine and medication inventories and QA/QI records.
• Assist with physical exams and coordination with physicians.
