Job summary

Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital, part of Fairview Health Services, is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) or certified/registered medical assistant to join our clinic team. The role supports patient care in an ambulatory setting, collaborates with providers, maintains patient flow, and ensures accurate documentation in the EMR.

Ideal candidates hold an LPN Minnesota license or MA certification, with clinic experience and BLS within two months. 0.8–0.9 FTE, days/evenings, on-site.

Qualifications

• Current LPN Minnesota state license required.
• Medical Assistant certification or registration required.
• Ambulatory/clinic experience preferred.
• BLS certification within 2 months of hire.
• Reliable attendance and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform focused assessments and report changes to providers.
• Assist with care plans and orders with the health care team.
• Administer medications and verify patient information.
• Support patient flow and escort patients through the clinic.
• Maintain exam rooms and order supplies.
• Document care in the EMR per policies.
