Job summary

Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital, part of Fairview Health Services, is seeking an enthusiastic LPN/MA to join our clinic team. The role supports providers, ensures smooth patient flow, updates EMR, administers medications, and maintains exam/treatment rooms in a busy internal medicine clinic.

The position is .8-.9 FTE with days/evenings schedule, education reimbursement, experience pay, generous PTO, and referral program. Internal posting until 11/9/26.

Qualifications

• Current LPN Minnesota state license or current Medical Assistant certification/registration.
• Experience in ambulatory health care setting preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently, accurately, and maintain positive relationships.
• BLS certification to be completed within two months of employment.
• Follow Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital policies, mission and values.
• Maintains reliable and consistent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct focused assessments and compare data to normal findings and patient health status; report changes to the licensed provider.
• Participate with the health care team in developing/modifying the patient care plan.
• Implement patient care interventions as ordered by a licensed health care provider.
• Assign nursing activities/tasks to other LPNs.
• Assign/monitor nursing tasks delegated to certified medical assistants or unlicensed personnel.
• Focus on safe, effective patient care, advocacy, evaluation, and collaboration with health care team.
