Job summary

Villa Healthcare seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Center Line, Michigan to provide licensed care to residents per physician orders and facility standards. You will document nursing reports, maintain a clean and safe environment, and monitor residents’ responses to care.

In this role you will administer medications, perform treatments, transcribe orders, and collaborate with the IDT to update care plans.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Possess a current LPN license to practice in Michigan.
• 1 year of experience preferred, long-term care is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to follow physician orders and document accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide licensed care to residents as ordered by physician and per standards.
• Provide and receive nursing reports at shift start and end.
• Maintain clean, sanitary nursing areas and treatment rooms.
• Supervise CNA services to ensure compliant care.
• Perform resident assessments and review care plans.
• Record vital signs, catheter care, IV therapy as ordered.
• Transcribe physician orders to charts/MARs and care plans.
• Prepare and administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Document nurse notes reflecting care and resident response.
• Complete admission, transfer, and discharge forms.
• Address safety risks and maintain a hazard-free environment.
• Report activities and contribute to care plan changes as needed.
