Job summary

Sandia Senior Suites in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinical team. You will deliver direct nursing care, supervise CNAs, and support resident wellness and comfort in a long-term care setting.

The ideal candidate holds a NM LPN license, has 1–2 years in long-term care, CPR/BLS certification, strong clinical and leadership skills, and knowledge of long-term care regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid LPN license in NM
• 1-2 years of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong clinical, communication, and leadership skills
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations and best practices
• Reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care following facility policies and state regulations
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
• Monitor and document residents’ health status and report any changes promptly
• Supervise Certified Nurse Assistants and ensure quality care is delivered
• Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Participate in care planning, chart reviews, and care conferences
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all nursing interventions and observations
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents and staff
• Uphold resident rights and promote independence, dignity, and well-being
