Job summary

Sandia Senior Suites in Albuquerque, NM seeks a compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our care team. You will assist residents with daily activities, provide mobility support, and monitor health signs, ensuring comfort, safety and dignity in a long-term care setting.

We value reliability, teamwork and meticulous documentation to maintain a homelike environment. CPR/BLS certification is preferred, and growth within a compassionate senior-care team is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification in the state of New Mexico.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in long-term care or a similar setting preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong interpersonal skills and a heart for senior care.
• Ability to lift, move, and transfer residents as needed.
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Provide mobility assistance such as transfers, ambulation, and use of assistive devices.
• Take and record vital signs and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and observations.
• Support residents' emotional and social needs with compassion and dignity.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and homelike environment at all times.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
• Adhere to all facility policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
