Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a Practical Nurse in North Carolina (LPN) with BLS.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to a current, individualized plan of care and collaborates with other health professionals.
• Observes and reports patient responses to therapies; documents data for care planning.
• Participates in unit/department activities and CQI initiatives.
• Provides a broad range of nursing treatments and monitoring per plan of care.
• Assists patients and families during admission, orientation, and discharge.
• Verbally de-escalates frightened patients and supports coping strategies.
