Job summary

Responsibilities

• Contributes to the development and maintenance of a current, individualized, goal-oriented plan of care and consults with other health professionals.
• Observes, assesses, documents, and reports patient response to treatments and teaching; adjusts priorities of care as needed.
• Participates in unit, service, and department activities that improve outcomes and education of staff.
• Provides a broad range of treatments including respiratory care, suctioning, medication administration, and monitoring equipment.
• Supports patients and families during admission, orientation, and discharge.
