Job summary

Intersect Healthcare in Michigan is seeking a Part-time Licensed Practical Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to residents and coordinate total nursing care under the guidance of the Director of Nursing and Unit Managers. The role includes rounds with physicians, care plan development, medication administration, wound care, documentation in PCC, and supervision of CNAs as needed.

A current Michigan LPN license and CPR certification are required, with two years of long-term care

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Michigan LPN license and CPR certification.
• Two years of professional nursing in long-term care preferred.
• Knowledge of federal/state laws applicable to long-term care nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident conditions and develop care plans with the team.
• Record observations accurately in PCC and monitor care plan adherence.
• Administer medications per physician orders and policies.
• Perform wound care, IV therapy, and related treatments as needed.
• Supervise CNAs and coordinate daily resident care activities.
