Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living seeks a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team, delivering nursing care in a warm, home-like setting for residents. You will collaborate with a dedicated team, ensuring high-quality care and building lasting relationships with residents and associates.

Must hold a valid LPN license and CPR certification, with 1–2 years of nursing experience preferred, particularly in elder care.

Qualifications

• Current state license as an LPN and CPR certification.
• Minimum 1–2 years of nursing experience, preferably with elderly.
• Graduate of an approved LPN program per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses, communicates, and documents residents' status.
• Observes and reports significant changes in resident health per state regulations.
• Directs and supervises daily work of Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentors and guides Lead Resident Care Assistants in their roles.
• Coordinates care needs with community providers through case management.
• Balances service demands with Resident independence support.
• Prevents elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation; reports per state regulations.
• Responds to emergencies and emergency response systems as needed.
