Job summary

Elim Park Baptist Home in Cheshire, CT is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Nursing Department on a full-time, hourly basis. Under the direction of an RN, you will provide compassionate nursing care, monitor resident conditions, and support medication management.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current CT nursing license/registration and CPR certification.
• Demonstrates good health, stamina and ability to work with elderly residents.
• Team player with positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Participate in ALSA admissions and change in condition management.
• Initiate and maintain residents' medication management.
• Evaluate people, situations and relationships; document accordingly.
• Support and supervise line staff; maintain effective communication.
• Communicate with MD, APPRN, nursing staff and scheduler.
• Maintain thorough nursing follow-up and documentation.
• Perform duties as directed by supervisor.
