Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited School of Nursing.
• Current registration or license in the State of Connecticut.
• CPR certified.
• Thorough knowledge of infection control policies and universal practices.
• Willingness to attend in-services and perform a variety of tasks as directed by the director.

Responsibilities

• Participating in ALSA admissions, readmissions and change in condition management.
• Initiate and maintain resident’s medication management needs.
• Develop and maintain effective communication with MD, APPRN, nursing staff and scheduler.
• Strong nursing follows up and documentation skills.
• Willingness to perform a variety of tasks which may not be conducive to strict nursing care.
