Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver nursing care to residents in a warm, home-like setting. You will be part of a dedicated team where supportive relationships with associates and residents thrive.

The role involves assessing residents, coordinating with caregivers, and mentoring RCAs to ensure high-quality care and safety in accordance with state regulations.

Qualifications

• Current state license as an LPN and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an approved LPN program (per state requirements).
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience working as a nurse preferred.
• Previous experience working with the elderly in a paid or volunteer position is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assess, communicate, and document residents’ status accurately.
• Observe and report significant changes to the care team per state regulations.
• Direct and supervise daily work assignments of Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentor and guide Lead Resident Care Assistants in their duties.
• Coordinate care needs with community providers via case management.
• Balance service needs with supporting resident independence.
• Recognize and report elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation per state rules.
