Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a valid LPN license in good standing.
• Basic computer skills; ability to read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Report suspected resident abuse/neglect immediately to supervisory staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and assist in admissions/discharges.
• Aid residents with daily hygiene and mobility; assist with transfers and positioning.
• Administer routine nursing procedures (blood pressures, dressings, catheter care, etc.).
• Record and communicate changes in resident condition to the Charge Nurse; participate in care planning.
• Complete charting and required documentation timely and accurately.
• Support safety regulations and proper use of equipment; assist with incident reports.
