Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process under the direction and supervision of the RN.
• Review diagnostic test results and report abnormal results to the RN and healthcare team in a timely manner.
• Administer prescribed medications, therapies and treatments in accordance with LPN standards.
• Maintain and review patient medical records and document all care activities.
• Assist with discharge planning and patient education under RN supervision.
• Collaborate with the supervising RN to execute the patient's plan of care.
• Support a safe environment and protect patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Participate in unit quality improvement initiatives and continue professional development.
