Job summary

FMOL Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide basic nursing care under the supervision of the RN. The role emphasizes adherence to standards, accurate documentation, and patient education to support care plans and safety.

You will collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure consistent, compassionate care for routine cases. Responsibilities include medication administration, record-keeping, and discharge planning support, with opportunities to grow under supervised practice

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Licensed LPN in Louisiana or valid work permit with BLS certification.
• Proficient in English with strong verbal and written communication and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process under the direction of the RN.
• Review diagnostic test results and report changes to the RN, physician and healthcare team.
• Administer prescribed medications, therapies and treatments per nursing standards.
• Maintain and review patient records, notes and physician orders; document all patient care activities.
• Implement components of the plan of care within LPN scope to promote outcomes.
• Assist with discharge planning and patient teaching under RN supervision.
• Ensure a safe environment for patients and healthcare team.
