Job summary

FMOL Health is seeking a HomeCare Licensed Practical Nurse to deliver essential nursing care under RN supervision for elderly participants at home. The role includes administering medications, maintaining medical records, and establishing care plans in collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Team.

Responsible for assessing homecare needs, the ideal candidate has at least one year of experience working with the elderly and is licensed to practice in Louisiana. The position demands strong English skills and the ability to communicate effectively with participants and their families.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year experience working with the frail elderly population.
• 1 year experience working as LPN.
• Licensed as LPN in state of Louisiana or work permit with BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic therapeutic nursing care under the direction of the RN.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with standards.
• Coordinates and authorizes durable medical equipment necessary in the home.
