Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Proficient in English, verbal and written communication skills and computer skills.
• Current Louisiana State license as LPN and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Observe, record and report patient condition and reaction to treatments.
• Assist physician, nurses and staff with patient care and appointment coordination.
• Prepare exam rooms, stock supplies and maintain equipment for treatment.
• Coordinate patient flow, scheduling, referrals and chart management.
• Administer medications and perform phlebotomy/EKGs as directed.
• Follow department and hospital policies, infection control and safety procedures.
