Job summary

FMOL Health is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide patient care, coordinate appointments, and assist in various nursing duties. The LPN will help ensure the highest quality of care and maintain patient records.

The ideal candidate must be a graduate of an accredited LPN school, possess strong communication and computer skills, and have a current Louisiana State license as LPN along with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN school.
• Proficient in English, verbal and written communication skills and computer skills.
• Current Louisiana State license as LPN and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Observes, records and reports patient's condition to physician.
• Performs selected nursing duties, including documenting patient history and vital signs.
• Provides complex and basic nursing care measures to all age groups.
• Responsible for appointment and referral scheduling.
• Administers prescribed medications in accordance with nursing standards.
