Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state you practice.
• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 45 days unless exempt by department leadership.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exams by obtaining vital signs and updating health information.
• Assist physicians with procedures and surgeries under supervision.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy within scope of practice.
• Provide patient education and coordinate referrals as needed.
• Maintain and stock exam rooms and prepare equipment.
• Document patient information accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Perform routine clinical tasks with competency and under supervision.
